Experience:
​Dan has over 25 years of regional and international experience working as a Psychotherapist & Clinical Social Worker in a variety of settings such as:  

• hospital (acute mental health unit)
• addiction services, 
• family health team/ primary care
• community counselling agencies
• residential settings
• child welfare
• private practice

He is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, is a member of Ontario Association of Social Workers and EMDR Canada & EMDRIA.

His specialties include working with individuals struggling with  trauma, addictive behaviors, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, stress and burnout. In addition, Dan provided services for First Responders (healthcare professionals, CBSA, corrections, telecommunications, military, paramedics, police officers, firefighters)  and their family members. 

Dan provides psychotherapy using various modalities such as:

Trish Simon BA, CYW, MSW Intern 

Experience:
Trish is working on completing a Master of Social Work program. She has over 20 years experience in the field where she  worked internationally and nationally with thousands of children, youth, and adults at several community agencies such as: orphanages, highschools, elementary schools, residential group homes, and child welfare agencies supporting adults obtain the supports they need to thrive.

Her passion for psychotherapy lies in a desire to help others in Sarnia-Lambton community live their best lives, through focusing on individual needs of each client.

Trish has been trained in several therapy modalities such as:
-Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to treat trauma and its effects
-Somatic Experiencing & Polyvagal Theory

She is also an experienced Circle of Security© Parenting (COSP) facilitator, a program that focuses on meeting the emotional needs of children and strengthening healthy parent-child attachments.
