Holistic Approach
Holistic psychotherapy or counselling is an integrative approach that recognizes the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit. It seeks to understand how challenges in one area of a person’s life can influence well-being in others, allowing treatment to address the whole person rather than isolated symptoms. In this practice, therapists utilize a whole-health approach that may include psychotherapy, lifestyle management strategies such as sleep hygiene, nutrition, physical activity, as well as strengthening personal and community support systems. At the client’s request, spiritual or faith-based practices may also be incorporated to support healing and personal growth. |
